COURSE | ALIMAH

SUMMARY

Alimah course is a 6 years programme that aims to equip students with the sacred knowledge of Islam from the Qur’an Kareem and Ahaadith Mubarakah. The breadth of which includes expertise in:  Recitation of Qur’an Kareem, Tajweed, Exegesis of the whole Qur’an Kareem (Tafseer), Prophetic Tradition (Hadeeth), Arabic Syntax (Nahwa), Arabic Morphology (Sarf), 6 Qualities of the Sahabah RA, Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Islamic Theology (Aqeedah), and Islamic History (Taareekh). 

The acquisition of this knowledge will enable such student to live life as a good muslimah and also to produce Ulama’ (Muslim Scholar) and leaders who are competent in the Islamic Sciences such as Tafseer and Hadeeth possessing the professional skills necessary to serve and lead the Muslim community with excellence.

These courses are offered in a traditional environment with students spending approximately 6 hours per day receiving direct instruction from certified scholars in English as the medium of explanation. The coursework prepares students to become upright citizens with aptitude to become asaatizah (lecturers), administrators, academic researchers and writer of an institution.

Ilm means the knowledge of deen (Islam) which comes directly from Allah Ta’ala through Jibraeel (A.S) to our beloved Rasulullah (S.A.W) and it has been passed to us. Amal means to practice upon what we’ve learnt from the Ilm-e-Deen. Ilm without amal is void of any benefit. The similitude to it is like a donkey carrying a stack of books on its back. When Ilm and amal combines together, a fruitful result will be produced where the scholar has fulfilled the purpose of learning Ilmud Deen which is to practice upon it

Madrasah Tarbiyatul Banaat Malaysia also offers secular subjects such as, basic Geography, Mathematics and Science in our syllabus to provide a solid foundation to pupil
